The Circus~!

It has been a long time since I went to a circus....maybe since I was Madeline's age.....I feel like you should at least do it once in your life;-) So I decided to take the kids to the one in Matamoras......and it was fun! It was an experience for sure....sorta of an odd one lol:) The attractions are different now than they used to be.....and the family that runs it is for sure a family.....they all wore so many hats during it.....there was a little boy who was selling cotton candy, and then performing, and then back to selling clown noses, and back to performing! They all did that.....wearing different hats, and working so hard during the time we were there.....The physical acrobatics were the most impressive....amazing things really.....and it made me wonder about their family....I am guessing the young adult performers we saw have been doing it since they were young....learning these feats.....and I am guessing they like it, and it is a part of the fabric of their lives.....or their histories....and it seemed like there was nowhere else they wanted to be....their family dynamic fascinating the life coach in me lol:) Wondering about how it started, and all of the underlying stuff that goes on....Making me want to interview them and hear their stories.........They had a transformer car.....which was random but kinda cool.....a giant koala ...the highlight for my kids was to hold a snake.....Gabe has been wanting to for so long, and I knew I needed to spend the overpriced amount for him to do it lol:) and of course his sister wanted to too....but their smiles made it worth it....Mads pushed past some fear to make it happen so she felt good about it.....she was super nervous......and they ate cotton candy....had snow cones, and had a light up thing that was cool, and we had pizza with my parents beforehand:) We roped them into our adventure....we even got to see friends we haven't seen in awhile and their adorable kiddos......and all of these things are things I hope my kiddos will remember always....experiences that we have.....the last three years have brought us the coolest adventures.....and I am just getting started....I want them to see and do so much....seize life and make it memorable for us all at every turn....and when we finally hit the car, and I asked them if they had fun they excitedly said yes! So that makes it all worthwhile....every time:)
