Spring BREAK!

Today is my last day of work till next Monday! My schedule is different than my kiddos this year.....I had originally hoped we would be headed to Myrtle Beach next week......some sand and sun feeling as if it was in order due to the Arctic Tundra we just lived through ;-) BUT my girl had a call in her soul to do Girls on the Run at her school, and can't miss practice....she is also in a play tonight, and tomorrow and then is beginning Girls on the Run next week.....so we stayed put.....and I trusted the nudge to make a plan to go, and then the redirection to stay home this week.....and as always it was right on time....We have dentist appointments on Monday now, and then my kids will be in school on Tuesday and Wednesday and I am meeting with my business coach Tuesday to work on some things that I want to....and I am so excited to connect.....I love her and we have a good time together.......and I will be on her Podcast soon too! :) AND then SPRING CLEANING is in order......my garage is so in need of that too.....it is a mess from this winter, and it being so cold, and not being able to keep up on it.....stuff piling up, so that is my plan to organize myself some as I head into all these new places.....and then Saturday we are having a family Easter celebration here......My cousins have littles, they are adorable, and I plan on channeling my elementary teacher fully and set up a fun egg decorating station, and have a huge hunt......some food and revelry and FUN!! I am passing along some of our children's books for them too in their Easter baskets alongside the candy, my daughter is customizing their baskets with her art skills, it will be fun for everybody:) And really once this break hits....and we return to school the time flies.....it is hard to believe my 22nd year of teaching at my current school, and my 24th year of teaching is wrapping up.....I have really enjoyed my class this year.....we have had a lovely year, truly.....and while Spring fever has hit them some, they are still doing well all things considered;-) so Spring Break is not quite how I pictured it a couple of months ago, but it feels like it will be just right......and saving more for my adventure out West in July is in order too......and beginning to formulate our summer bucket list......mini getaways, and hopefully a big one! We will also be headed to the OBX in September......I found a place in upstate NY that has a treehouse restaurant and this cool lighted hiking path for nighttime, we may grab a night there over the summer. Beyond that I do need this break too.....just a place to catch my breath! Things are coming together, and feeling SO GOOD and so RIGHT:).....but I have been busy.......I also have a client now that is 18 for the last couple of months, and coaching her is such a fun and unique experience.....I am learning so much......we met last night, which is why that is on my mind this morning, and she is doing so well....and it makes my heart feel happy....figuring out how to adjust some, to work with a teenager has been a fun learning experience.....and has helped me evolve some in my coaching.....I trust these days that my energy, my vibe, and my business will attract whoever it is supposed to, both personally and professionally:) So this morning feels like I am right where I belong.....living in blessings, and answered prayers indeed:) Happy Friday!
