All the FALL things!

My kids were supposed to go to their dad's this weekend....but he had to cancel because he was sick. I had some plans with some friends for tonight but I cancelled them, and opted for creating a fall extravaganza for my kids and I:) I choose to not get a sitter for the kids when they are with me if I can help it! That time feeling sacred.....I know that it is OK for me to do stuff for me too and if something comes along that is big and important, I do. But overall I seek to spend my time with them:) So this weekend we are seeking to frolic and have some fun after our first full week at school:) This morning we are making a plan for our weekend. A pumpkin patch, and orchard on our radar! Perhaps even a place where we can do both! We talked about carving pumpkins for our porch, and finding the ones I love for my hearth:) And I am never sad when my kids get to stay with me, they are my favorite humans....and my priority! I am hoping to hike somewhere too! It is gorgeous out there this weekend......and I am looking forward to soaking it in, and getting some other things done around here too! I have a client tomorrow too for a bit......and the school year's rocky start amid my daughter not feeling well on her Lyme meds has settled in.....and she is doing great in her new school! She is loving it:) She has taken a few tests and gotten great grades and has adjusted to all of the new things very quickly....making some new friends and having fun......She and I are both fall gals, so our season has arrived.....the trees beginning to change showing us that.....I am so grateful for the time I spend with them.....having them fill me up in all the ways! I had considered going to Jim Thorpe to hike some.....but may put that for another time.....the trees are not quite there yet, and I am not sure we would have the time....I am sure we will find the right spot today.....and of course there is always grocery shopping lol:) And some laundry and chores! We also started talking Halloween and they opted for Cindy Lou and the Grinch lol:) So I am hatching that plan too:) This weather has truly been incredible and I have been enjoying all of the sunshine, and perfect weather for sure!
