I am so glad you are here......

I had my community event at the park last night, knowing that most of the I Got YOU GIRLS had summer conflict plans, and wasn't sure who else may come.....and when I first started my business, I used to attach to the outcomes......feeling like it wasn't a SUCCESS if a bunch of people didn't come, or sign up to whatever I was promoting or putting out there.....and I have learned that isn't true........each time the RIGHT people, the people who need it right at that moment, and the exact number of people are who shows up......and it never gets less amazing to me......so last night a classmate of my daughter's came.......one of my I Got YOU GIRLS and her mom and dad and sister......and the girls played and I got to really get to know the parents on a deeper level, and talk and visit. My son played basketball with some boys from school and had a ball......and I ended up having the girls pass out ice pops to the kids at the park.......I also saw another mom and her kiddos and got to connect with them......and it went exactly as it was supposed to.....I think that my daughter will be connecting with this girl more deeply as time goes on, and she had just been invited to her first sleepover there for the girl's birthday.......and it felt absolutely perfect that my undivided attention was available to get to know this family, my ability to just be and chat, and this mom has been super supportive of what I have been doing right from the beginning......and the walk I hosted was much better attended number wise, so maybe that is what people are looking for, or maybe it was the time I picked, or the day, or summer schedules.......that is the thing about running a business, the factors are endless.....you never know which factor is at play........so tweaking it is always a work in progress.....but as I said the bigger piece is locking into the fact that whoever shows is meant to.......and I no longer attach to outcomes.....and also know that I am in the grass roots part of this season of my business......when I ran women's series, we would start with 4 and then grow to 9 or 10......and it is an evolution......but each time exactly who is meant to be there is, EVERY SINGLE time.......and ultimately if you build it they will come right:) That is what I have been finding with my workshops, having our first ones full, and expanding to the next set.....having some girls missing one or two due to plans but all of them walking in the 6 months of it.......but what I love is that my daughter gets to see me consistently show up, over and over, and never get discouraged, she has been front row to it all, when I had women's series in my living room.....she also understands that what is meant to be will be and it always works as it should.....so last night turned into a lovely play date with a friend for us all.......and it was a beautiful night in the park and it was perfect:) And I am grateful:) Happy Saturday!
