I am up early this morning to prepare to go home.....I had a great last day yesterday....I helped Becki clean up some since I was the last one there........but the girls had done so much to help before they all left.....and then we drove to Jackson Hole....stopping at some beauty along the way.....and then roaming around the town......I picked up some souvenirs for my people.....got to see some shops, have a beer at the Cowboy Bar a tourist spot, and then we met her other friend who lives here, and had been with us this week too, for an amazing dinner.....absolutely delicious and we walked around some more.....and as I reflect on it all there were so many takeaways....truly taking a vacation and laying down some stuff I needed to to lean into relaxing......was such a gift, it is easy to do here due to the vast openness.......another time and place where the "real world" fades away.......the highlights this week were plentiful......but one that will stay with me ........was watching the woman I had written about that has the cancer and came....share a song for Becki that she had written that reduced us all to tears when she played it on her birthday.....and having the privilege of sitting there to listen to it, with head to toe goosebumps, and tears flowing was an incredible experience I won't forget.....it was heartbreaking and magical.......powerful stuff......I can honestly say that the beauty of nature here never got old for me....I stood in awe each time.....waking up at the lodge on her property and looking out over all of it every morning this week was incredible.....this trip was the thing I didn't know I needed. Not realizing that this time would change me so deeply. I know before I came I felt I would feel that, but I did feel it so deeply......I plan on making a little Wyoming picture spot in my house to remind me of this magical time often.....I found so many gifts here, but mostly the gift of saying yes to myself, to an adventure, to so much....I am deeply grateful to my kids and my parents for sending me here with their blessing and allowing me to live this experience. I am anticipating a smooth travel day.... Excited to connect with my car service guy later and finishing my trip where it began.....less than a week ago but feeling like it was so long ago.....time stretching out this week, finding me living days that felt so long and full in every way! Cheers to blessings and adventures, enjoy the day y'all xoxo And as amazing as this place is, there is no place like home indeed ❤️Going home to my heart and soul 💫Excited to wrap my arms around them 😍
